The NRA nationally certified Basics of Pistol Shooting provides knowledge and how to operate rim fire and center fire pistols of all action types, revolvers and semi-automatic. Firearms safety, selection considerations, care and maintenance and storage are also covered in this course. If you inspire to become an NRA Instructor this course is a pre-requisite.

· Live Fire Practice
· Sight Adjustments
· Shooting Positions
· Qualification Level Shoot
· Pistol of caliber between .22LR to .45ACP.
· We recommend using the smaller caliber for this course
· Rental gun with ammunition will be available if required
· Ammunition: 100 rounds of factory loaded ammunition
· Eye and Hearing Protection
· Note taking material
· Individuals that are new or novice to firearms
· First training step towards conceal carry
· Great pre-requisite for attending higher skilled level courses
· First step to become an NRA Pistol Instructor or License to Carry Instructor
Shooters must register at least 48hrs before the start date of the course.
If the course has less than 3 people registered it may be cancelled and a full refund will be granted.
If Gunner Defense has to cancel a course for any reason a full refund will be granted.
Cancellations within 48hrs of the start of the course, $50 will be withheld from the refund to cover prior administration cost. Cancellation or no show on the day of the course no refund shall be granted.
